Missed a race this morning due to a quick tstorm that decided to make its way thru right at race time! Bummed out. Felt pretty good about it as I had a really good time (for me) running yesterday. I ran in about 8.5 min per mile and that is good for me. I usually am about 9.5 min per mile! Not real fast. Oh well, setting my sites on the next one!!

Hey there. Running in this humidity is a pain in the keyster. I go early (5 a.m.) and I am literally sweating buckets when I am done. And that is only w/3-4 miles! I don’t know how the long distance runners do it. Can anyone give me any tips on this? I really feel like I struggle and my body gets tired. I cannot seem to get below a 9 minute pace. I am new to this. I should say that I am 47 and had a surprise baby 18 months ago! So, running is really helping to keep me healthy! I have 4 kids ranging from 1 - 23!! What a life! Okay…running isnt just about being healthy, its about keeping me sane!! Ha,ha.
